GAVIN SANSON BAGARES

Bagares is a founding member and trustee of Kaguikan sa Parian foundation, Inc., an organization of Cebu’s leading families prior to 1898. He is the group’s authenticator and historian. Bagares is also HAMBINS’s current special projects officer.

JASON VERALLO

Verallo, MBA is an industrial psychologist specializing in labor relations. Having worked for some of the top multinational BPO’s in Cebu, he has also handled corporate recruitment, psychological profiling, and training and development. A history enthusiast, he is a pioneering member of HAMBIN.

LAILA LABAJO

Labajo has an MA History from the University of San Carlos. Her area of specialization is Church History, Cebuano Studies & Philippine/Asian Studies. She is active in CCIMPEL for political education and transformation & AMBIT Foundation for scholarships/education. She was HAMBIN’s president for three years. She loves to travel.

LILIA TIO

Tio is an Associate Professor, UP Cebu College and teaches Communication Arts, Philippine Literature, and Sugbuanon Literature. She won a Palanca for Cebuano Short Story in 2008.

BOBOI COSTAS

Costas is a travel writer and a community-based rural tourism advocate. He consults for the government under his firm GRASSROOTS TRAVEL. Named TRAVEL WRITER OF THE YEAR by the Department of Tourism, he finished his Biology degree from the University of San Carlos and Photography from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

BAMBI BELTRAN

Beltran is currentlythe NCCA Film Committee Visayas Representative. She is a multi-awarded fictionist as well as a visual artist. She is also a film maker as a scriptwriter, producer and actress.

AUDREY DAWN MORALES TOMADA

Tomada is an Anthropology graduate, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. She had been a consultant for marketing and medical anthro researches, cultural communities and social impact assessment projects. She is currently the director of Jose R. Gullas Halad Museum and is teaching anthropology at the University of the Visayas.

FLORENCIO MORENO III

Moreño II has lived in Negros, Leyte and Cebu. He was once an instructor of history at USC, and now a museum curator at Casa Gorordo Museum. He is interested in the ordinary.
